Happy New Year !!

Yeah... A new year ahead.. 2012 :D. Feeling awesome and excited for this year. CF is gonna be awesome, studies is gonna be awesome. Everything is going to be awesome because GOD IS AWESOME :D...

I had a dream 2 nights ago; a dream that a sandstorm is coming to KTT. And yesterday afternoon I was praying about it and I was wondering whether it's from God or not and if it is, what it meant; tribulation or revival is coming. And guess what? Tribulation needs to happen for revival to come ! And I'm still waiting for confirmation from God or it might just be another dream. Whatever it is, I'm longing for revival here ! The only problem is that my little brain cannot contain what true revival really means and how it will happen. The good news is God knows ! And I believe this year is going to be awesome !!

A new year, new life. End of last year was a down period of my spiritual life. But it's going to be different now ! Things will change for the better. Getting serious about studies and God's work here. I'm so excited for what's coming :D.

Whatever it is, God is going to be glorified no matter what. And I want to join in to glorify God !! Hallelujah ! Come and join God's side !

Tired ...

Hah... tired tired and tired... this week's gonna be so cramped. Caroling, Family Day, Christmas, IELTS assignment. Everything. Sometimes I just wish that I can have a day off just to chill. Yesterday the taxi driver scolded me because I asked him whether he has change if I would pay RM50. He said yes, I went in, and he started scolding that I have no brains. So I said, "Okay fine. Stop the car. I'm getting another taxi." He shut up then. And I sms-ed a complaint to LPKP lol. Last night slept at 2am plus because parents had to send me after their work. So tired.

For this week; Monday and Wednesday we will be going around the apartment and houses for caroling. It will be fun. There will be music, sharing and maybe food :D. Besides that, on Thursday we are having our Christmas celebration. There will be music, performances like musical drama and choir, sharing by Pastor Dave and gift exchange. I'm in charge of the performances. And tonight, tomorrow night and Wednesday night we have to rehearse and rehearse. This is so last minute because we just came back from our holiday last week

Next on Tuesday from morning to evening KTT is organizing Family Day. It is like a canteen day in high school where clubs open stalls and booths to sell things, raising funds for their own clubs. And there will be games. What I heard was that the purpose of this day is to emphasize on the family sense of the college students, especially for those who stay in home and study all the time without ever coming out of the house except for food (or maybe not) (Yes, this is KTT). And during the night there will be Chinese Society event, making tong yuen (some solstice balls in soup LOL). Wonder whether I should go.

CF will be raising funds not for our club but we will be doing it for the event Heavenly Gift. It's charity; buying Christmas presents for the orphans, refugees and etc. We will be selling can drinks, fruits and peanuts. We will also be hosting a 'cinema', playing Upside, Smurfs and some Mammoth Christmas movie haha...

Everything is cramped into this week and I find myself so worn out. Lol. And I get disappointed sometimes back in my home, in colleges. Not to mention that my studies have been abandoned for some time, both by busyness and laziness. Whatever it is, I know that everything will turn out awesome because God is awesome :D. It may not be as I planned but it will be as God planned (which is of course, by far more better).

Now I'm just hoping that after this week, I would have a break. At least 2 or 3 days. Just wander around nice places and chill. This coming Sunday is Christmas. I'll be going to FGA for service; there will be a musical production. Wonder if there's anyone that will come with me. And on Monday and Tuesday I think I will go somewhere far and enjoy haha... Just wanna reward myself for some work done. Hope to bring someone along :D. Maybe some friends if they're free. Okay... Gonna go back to work now :D. God bless...

18th Birthday :D

A birthday surprise party at my house 9am. Thanks to June, Henry, Andrew, Arshwin, Edmund, Marc, Alexandria and Anndrea. Best birthday ever. 18 years old now hehe... FINALLY*. xD. Morning celebrated with school friends. Afternoon went for Heavenly Gift in IOI :D. Collect donations for the orphanages, old people who got abandoned by their kids, and victims of human trafficking. Then evening celebrated with church friends :D. Then night came home celebrated with family :DD. So happy haha... Happiest birthday ever.

So the morning, my dad suddenly woke me up and told me a bunch of friends are waiting for me downstairs. I was so happy hahaha... Although I kinda knew what would happen already but I still acted surprised xD just for the fun. I realized it earlier when talking to June haha... Really thank her so much <3 for all these. I knew they were coming to my house but I didn't know there would be so many of them. Thank all of them :D.

After that we went to IOI for a movie..... Yup I forgot what we watched. xD Anyways after movie we had lunch together, then we separated and June and I joined our church friends to do the charity event. It was awesome we collected I don't know how much but a lot la haha... It was 3pm-7pm. Then after that we had dinner together. They had a cake for me. And Aaron my life group leader made some games. He wrote on a piece of paper many questions that I needed to answer; questions about myself. Then when I was done he added few more answers to make it a multiple choice questions to ask the others. So that they would know more about me.

After dinner Aaron sent June and I to my house. Celebrate my birthday with my family and neighbours. Haha... It was good. My second brother Zakee baked a cake for me XD. Chocolate cheese. Haha... Awesome day !! Thank God !!

Holiday :D

Finally the moment has arrived... Holiday !! For only 1 week D: ... Haha... My final semester exam has over last friday. Now I'll be having holiday for a week. By the way in KTT, our holidays are rare and the longest is 1 week. Haha... Meanwhile, Cambridge A-Levels in other colleges such as KDU has 1 month holiday. Haha... And that means I have to go through my Christmas and New Year in KTT. Hahaha... It may sound bad to you and that's because you don't know the people there ! I have many friends there and they're awesome!!

So our plan for Christmas this year, I have the least idea yet the most essential one. I've been seeking God for a theme for the performance. Last night when I was reading the bible,

Genesis 28
10 Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Haran. 11 When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. 12 He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 There above it stood the LORD.......

John 1

43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.”
44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
46 “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked.
   “Come and see,” said Philip.
47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”
48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.
Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.”
50 Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” 51 He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.”

In other words, Jesus was saying that He is the stairway to heaven. Jesus is the way !!
This will be our theme for our Christmas celebration.

Awesome yeahh....

Handful :D

Quite busy these days. Many things are up. Christmas, CF, exams around the corner and many things more. Thank God that He's awesome :D. Not only that He's awesome but that He's awesome in our lives =D. Praise Him. Nothing spectacular happened these days and in fact I have to push myself more and more in my daily devotions. I don't know if any of you would understand but when things get routine-ish and something's telling you that religious-ism is prevailing.

Just like the church in Ephesus (Rev. 2) we need to regain the first love that we've forsaken. Remind ourselves daily why we're doing what we're doing. And the only reason for us to be spiritually dry that I can think of is that we've been too comfortable in our comfort zones. Haha... The thing that causes us to draw ourselves to God naturally is when we realize that we need Him, and when do we need Him? When we're facing problems, when we're battling spiritual warfare. Either the problem is our own or the problem that comes up when we're serving God, our problem is God's problem. God cares for us.

A little testimony about an incident that happened few weeks back. I was in KL Sentral on the way going home. I saw a blind lady walking with her stick. Concerned about her safety and driven by curiosity whether she was going to make it the right way, I followed her. The first was that I guided her to the escalator because she seemed like she couldn't find her way. Then I was following her from the back (I think she didn't know it). In KL Sentral there's this pathway for blind people where the floor tiles are made in such a way that there are dots of bumps to be felt. So we reached this place where the path is separated. She had to guessed her way through to reach to the beginning of the next path.

I was watching her and so I pulled her when she walked to the wrong place. She asked, "Betulkah?" meaning whether she was right. So I said no and I pulled her to the right path. She seemed hesitated because she couldn't see. So I let go again. Followed her. Reached the traffic light. We had to cross the big tar road in order to reach to the blind-people-path on the other side. The traffic light for humans was still red but she walked (there wasn't car though). So I ran to her and slowly guided her. I felt that she didn't want to be guided because she was scared and couldn't trust me I think. I asked her where she wanted to go she said, "Terbang", lol. It's either she is mentally ill or she couldn't trust me. Anyways after letting her go I kept on watching her until I left on a bus.

The thing is this, we don't know the future. Our vision is limited. But God isn't. God knows what lies long ahead. It's true she didn't know whether the person who guided her was good or bad. Similarly, many times we don't know who to follow. Should we follow God's word, God's ways or our own? I know for certain that if we follow God's, we will not be lost, ever. God knows the future, God knows what's best for us. We don't. Don't trust what you can see for the moment, don't trust what you guess is right for the moment. Trust God. Follow His Word. He never fails you.
